A Radiology Clinic device has also disappeared at the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo, learning from Schneta sources.
It's a device that enables the digitalization of analog gythgen, which allows for reading X - ray on CD. This device, which has cost thousands of euros, has been located in the Neonatology Clinic, where newborn babies are treated.
The device belongs to the Radiology Clinic, and it's the same as this clinic's technocs.
The USKKUK management has been informed of the issue this week, but they still do not know where the device is left.
“Linked to X-ray imaging digitalizers, SSKKUK has been notified through the Ud, chief of biomedical equipment sector, which is also the contract manager, with which during routine visits, it has found that the device is not found in the Neonatology Clinic, respectively. After the announcement, the sectors of the relevant units are in the state identification phase, and if it is seen there are elements of the eventual violations will be carried out in line with legislation in force”, the USKUK's response is said.
This is the second device in a few months that has disappeared at QKUK. In July of last year, a USB had disappeared, which was also an integral part of a costly six thousand-euro gergenia. The case was reported to the Kosovo Police as well, but it is still unknown how it happened.
