EU reacts sharply after Russia's gas decision, calls it an instrument for blackmail

“The non-recognition of Gazprom, which is the unital gas distribution ban on consumers in Europe, is another attempt by Russia to use gas as a blackmail instrument. This is unjustified and unacceptable and shows once again for without Russia's credibility as gas supplier”, she said.
On the other hand, the senior official said the EU is prepared for this scenario and that the bloc is in close contact with member states.
“The EU has made plans for such a situation and crisis talks are taking place in Brussels”, she added. /Periscopi
