Dick Marty again: I have nothing to do with Thaci's arrest, Serbs orchestrated everything to me

Former reporter to the Council of Europe Dick Marty, whose report was made due to the establishment of the Special Court, said all hatred of him was orchestrated by the Serbian secret service.

He also spoke of his pressure on his family, saying that he has decided to speak to expose the criminal orchestration.

He said there are political reasons the threat to him has not yet been neutralised.

The Federal Council has twice intervened in my case; the lack of a strategy to neutralise the threat against me is for political reasons, considered more important than rule of law. The official Bernie doesn't want to have problems with anyone, but in reality he's always been a bit like that. I'm sorry that none of the politicians responsible for these decisions wanted to give me an explanation”, Marty underlined.

As a result, according to Swiss public television, the former reporter to the Council of Europe, Dick Marty, has been being protected by Swiss forces after receiving threats from radical elements of the Serbian intelligence.

The Swiss daily Tagesenzieger has reported that the Federal Council has even mobilised elite soldiers to protect Dick Martyn, since the risk to his life is too great.

Marty, in the Balkans, is best known for investigating war crimes in Kosovo. Now, he is under 24-hour protection by Swiss military forces.

Marty himself talked about this situation.

The “Threatening appears to come from certain circles of Serbian intelligence services, which urged the crime world, professional killers, to liquidate me simply to blame Kosovars. As for the killers, they would be part of the underworld. There are veterans who specialize in killing by order, ordering murder, and so it doesn't take a lot of money to kill someone”, he stressed.
