The Kosovo government has voted the decision to ban the temporary export and re-export of some basic agro food products.
Minister Roseta Hajdari has presented the proposal-making proposal to the government cabinet, which has also been approved.
“As small as export and reeksport can jeopardise Kosovo's future supply. After discussions with Kosovo Customs as well, we have taken the decision to ease the situation of making the temporary export ban and re-export of some basic agri food products”, the minister said.
The proposed decision prohibits the export of cereals, flour, food oil, sugar and salt.
After the vote was cast, there was no vote against or abstention, and that decision has been adopted.
