Isni Berisha was co-ordinator of Agim Ramadani, with whom he was at the front even on the day of the fall of hero Agim Ramadani.
Berisha says that he and some others had arrived at the Hizhara Plain three days before Agim Ramadani arrived.
"The Dawn has arrived with a team and asked our commander to join five warriors." We joined Agim without even asking our superior who we had until then. Dawn had a unit with us, and together we continued on the road. Interestingly, when we arrived at the river, Agim asked us if we ate bread. So in that situation he asked for bread. Somebody said yes, someone didn't. He asked us if we had bread, someone had, and someone did not. He took a loaf out of the bag and waved it to each of us. After we ate we continued on the left”, Berisha relates the first moments of recognition with Agim Ramadani.
Former soldier of The KLA says that after Serbs faced the group leading Agim Ramadani has been divided into two smaller groups.
When we reached the little pines, Agim noticed the movements of Serbs. At that moment he ordered two soldiers to board the pines and monitor the situation below. Dawn consulted Commander Cobra and then the soldiers split in two. One group has gone with Cobra and the other we have continued with it”, Berisha added further RTV “Dukagini”.
He says that because of the big snow, there was no way to open holes.
We were positioned as we could near certain pines, since there was no way to open instincts because it was huge snow. The fighting had already begun”.
Isni Berisha says Agim fell to the front, taking care of a soldier.
“Agim was large strateg. I never knew anyone better than him. Dawn positioned us as she could. A soldier thought he wasn't well positioned and moved his position. At that moment he was shot by Serbs and snowed. The Commander has stood up to see if a bullet has taken the soldier. The soldier had not caught a bullet, but then Agim caught a bullet in the belly and fell to the ground without any conversation or communication with us. Fighting continued with greater intensity and at evening we pulled the body of Commander”.
He says half of the soldiers haven't understood until late for the fall of Agim Ramadan, until he says that except the commander he unit had had had no human losses.
