“In view of the possible despair of President Putin and the Russian leadership, in view of the obstacles they have faced so far, militarily, none of us should easily take their threats that they can use low-productive nuclear tactical weapons or nuclear weapons”, Burns said in a speech at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, reports Business.
Besides failing to get Kiev, Russia has lost thousands of soldiers and a considerable number of generals. Russia also recently lost the Moscow warship.
By contrast, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview for CNN that the world must be “fair” for the possibility that Russia uses nuclear tactical weapons in Ukraine.
Nuclear tactical weapons are usually much less powerful than strategic nuclear weapons and have lower explosive capabilities while designed to be used against military positions like bunkers or portal objects. /Telegrafi/
