Germany stands firm next to Ukraine in its freedom struggle, German parliamentarians stress. Support for Ukraine's right to self-defense is important for the protection of peace and freedom in Europe and also for seeking a diplomatic solution. Regarding sending weapons, it is said that “agrees with the United Nations Charter Germany sends weapons for defence itself to Ukraine and approves sending from third states. ” That is also true of sending heavy weapons into agreement with NATO partners. Within the framework of the NATO countries' defence ministers' meeting at the US base in Ramstein, German Defence Minister Christine Lambrecht had announced, sending antiaircraft. Stressing that our “assistance has been co-ordinated with other NATO partners”.
