British Transport Secretary Grant Shapps said on Saturday he has prevented the use of another private plane, which has been linked to Russian oligarchs.
“We will not sit back and watch how they make millions through the auspices of [Russian president Vladimir] Putin, living their lives in peace as innocents' blood spilled”, Shapps said through a Twitter post.
The British Transport Department said it has issued an announcement that the plane was prohibited from launching from Luton Airport in London.
The plane will stay at the airport until officials further investigate whether sanctions prohibiting combating Russian-related aircraft are violated, these stops imposed after Moscow began invasion of Ukraine.
Authorities said they would not show ownership of the aircraft until investigations are conducted.
So far, the Transport Department has detained a helicopter belonging to the Helico Group LLC and two private planes.
The two planes belonged to Eugene Schvidler, an associate of the Russian sanctioned billionaire Roman Abramovich.
