Blinken meets with Zelensky in Kiev

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has arrived in Kiev and is holding talks with Ukrainian President Voldomyr Zelensky, Ukrainian Presidential Adviser Olexiya Arestovych announced.

Sky News writes Blinken has met with Zelensky and is expected to discuss the country's request for more weapons to repel Russian invasion.

Zelensky had announced the scheduled visit Saturday, saying: “Once we have (more weapons), as soon as there's enough of them, believe me, we will immediately recover this or that territory, which is temporarily occupied”.

The visit came after the war in Ukraine enters the third month without end, thousands of people dead, millions of refugees, and cities destroyed.
