Gunther Fehlinger, who has worked as development consultant in the Western Balkan states, has reacted to the ban being made on him to enter Serbia.
He, through a Twitter post, has said that since he is being barred from entering Serbia just because he criticises Serbia's pro-Russian policies, it shows that the latter is not ready to be part of the European Union.
“If you don't allow me to enter Serbia, Alexander Vuciq, as an EU and Austrian citizen only because I criticise your pro-Russian policy and your lack of the European spirit for peace, understands that Serbia is not ready for EU candidate status and that status should now be withdrawn” he said.
If you do not let me into Serbia ? @avuccic as EU & Austrian Citizen just because I Criticize your pro-Russian police, and your friend of EU European spirit for peace, it makes my case that Serbia is not ready for EU Candidate Status, & this status must be once now @ EP president Pic.twitter. com/ Cl4 RR7DzW
