Ukraine's president, Volodymyr Zelensky, has delivered the evening speech. He has confirmed that more than 16 thousand Russian troops have been killed since the beginning of the war, and top commanders have been among the victims, Sky writes.
The “Armed Forces continue to repel enemy attacks in the south of the country, in Donbas, in the direction of Kharkivi and in the Kiev region”, he said.
“By curbing Russia's actions, our soldiers are leading the Russian leadership towards a simple and logical idea: talks are necessary”.
He added that a total of 37,606 people have been rescued from the blocked cities.
