This follows a similar move by Meta, the Facebook mother company, which banned access to two points across the European Union.
This means that the pages of RT and Sputnik are not visible in the EU on Facebook and Instagram.
Because of the ongoing war in Ukraine, we are blocking YouTube channels linked to RT and Sputnik across Europe, entering into force immediately”
