Ukraine: There are fierce battles going on, we got some enemy pilots.

The Ukrainian Army has just released its operational report since 6am local time, stressing that its forces have fought “in fierce battles to preserve assigned borders”, reports The Guardian.

A defence operation in the eastern part of Donnetsk's operational district is under way as efforts are focused on protecting the city of Marioupolis, the military, followed the Express newspaper.

According to the report, Russian forces were stopped by an advance towards the Dnepropetrovsk region by Balakli and an operation to protect the town of Chernihiv is under way.

The report refers to <x0 heavy losses in weapons, equipment and personnel” along with the losses of 88 Russian aircraft and helicopters.

Some enemy pilots who were executed and survived were found by Ukrainian soldiers. They have received medical treatment and are already testifying to the crimes of Putin's regime against humanity”, the report says.

Because of the resistance of all Ukrainian people, Russian troops are “demorized” with “the extremely low moral and psychological state... due to awareness of the real state of affairs”, Ukraine's General Staff of Armed Forces said
