Albright helped lead Western foreign policy after the Cold War.

Albright for the last time in Pristina had been to participate in marking the 20th anniversary of the end of NATO air strikes and the entry of ground troops, which enabled the end of the war in Kosovo.

Albright, along with former US President Bill Clinton, participated in state activities organised to mark this anniversary.

The determination and dedication of Secretary Albright to stop the genocide in Kosovo, and to restore freedom and hope to a oppressed people, were strategic for the future of our people.
