AAK Parliamentary Group chief Besnik Tahiri is participating in the meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of Europe's Parliamentary Assembly for Political and Democracy Affairs.
The AAK MP said that the current priority of this institution is the situation in Ukraine.
European countries are unified in their positions for the war in Ukraine, but still somehow hesitate to say the positions clearly and correctly, Tahiri said.
Meanwhile, as for the Kosovo membership process in the Council of Europe, Tahiri stressed that there is still much work to be done. Among other things, Tahiri unveiled some suggestions about the process of membership in the Council of Europe
1. This institution's priority is Ukraine and only Ukraine;
2. The role of Russia and its allies are out of influence, so for now they have no chance to prevent us;
3. Statements that it is the right moment for application should be studied seriously and well, with caution, not with fans. According to my assessment, it's not about pompous statements, it's about strategic and political innovations.
4. We urgently need to strengthen our Consulate in Strasbourg with logistical and budget capacity.
5. In April (25-29) our delegation should come here with concrete plans, until then they don't make too many tweets.
