Speaking ahead of NATO's extraordinary summit on March 24th, Stoltenberg has said leaders will discuss “the need for long-term prevention and protection reshuffle”.
The military alliance has said it will double the number of regulations it has in Europe, citing Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Bulgaria.
President Putin has made a huge mistake by launching war against an independent and sovereign nation. It has underestimated the power of the Ukrainian people, the bravery of the Ukrainian people and their armed forces”, Stoltenberg told reporters before the meeting.
He has said that each use of comic weapons “would basically change the nature of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine and constitute violation of international law.
“Seriosity of the use of chemical weapons, of course, grows even more in view of the risk of poisoning... may also be spreading chemical agents into NATO's” territory, he said.
He has not mentioned how NATO could react in the event of such an attack. /rel
