That is because, according to him, although for the first time Kosovo after the elections, a government that alone has the majority but has done almost nothing.
LDK MP says the government led by Albin Kurti has no clarity for economic development, foreign policy and dialogue.
For the first time in Kosovo's history, we have had a result of elections that has produced a powerful Government. This had to be translated very easily for government, to accomplish work, to make decisions to carry out their governing program. Unfortunately for a year of governance to create the impression that Kosovo has not had a literal government, rather a kind of government, because there is no clarity either of economic development, nor of measures to take, nor of their vision for foreign political economy and dialogue”, Selmanaj said.
Among other things, he said the Hoti Government after taking office was invited by US officials for meetings, while Kurti is not expecting anyone.
According to him, the heads of institutions are still learning what needs to be done and how it is governed with the country, and there is no agenda and strategy for visas, EU membership and other key issues, EO reports.
“What happened to these, no application, no clear agenda for the application, have no idea where Kosovo should apply and what its way is, no strategy with 5 non-recognising states, no strategy for the road to the EU and visa liberalisation. No serious visit. The government Hoti was invited by the United States to go to Washington after two times1>.
And they don't know who to put on the agenda because nobody's expecting it. Now we're acting like we don't have a partnership with them. This government is still searching for the agenda of this government. They're still learning what to do. I see that it will go by trying to learn and on the other hand by doing damage to the country”.
