US Secretary of State Antony Blinken again confirmed support for the rise of the EU in the Western Balkans, including Albania.
In a telephone conversation with Northern Macedonia Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski, Blinken welcomed the new moment of dialogue with Bulgaria and voiced hope that a solution to the issue between the two countries would follow during the French EU presidency, writes Alsat Mk.
Northern Macedonia's prime minister has stressed to Secretary Blinken that there is no time to lose, and that any further delay could have serious regional consequences and open the doors for increasing the influence of third parties in the region.
During the talks, Kovacevski and Blinken expressed satisfaction with the effective harmonisation and co-ordination of NATO and the EU in sanctioning Russia, as well as in organising effective support for Ukraine, which Northern Macedonia joined.
