Russian forces are approaching two major nuclear centres in southern Ukraine, said the chief in charge of the company énergoatom, Petro Cottin, which is the Ukrainian state nuclear company, says The Guardian, following Periscopi.
Kotin said Ukraine still has two major nuclear centers under control, Zaporizhja, which is the largest nuclear centre in Europe, but Russian troops have advanced to nearly 33 kilometers near Zaporizhja and the nuclear station in southern Ukraine.
The head of the city of Enerhoda, in which Zaporzhja is located, said Ukrainian forces are fighting Russian troops for city control.
Speaking in an interview for Reuters, Kotti described as nuclear terrorism the capture of the Chernobyl nuclear station from Russia. / P ERISCOPI/
