CNN reports that videos in social media showed a huge fire with secondary explosions on port.
Berdynsk is located in the Azov Sea and is approximately 70 km southwest of Marioupolis. The city has a small maritime base and a population of about 100,000. Russian military troops occupied the Berdyansk government buildings for the first time on 27 February.
