Officials said the attack, using Russia's new Kinzhal missile system, destroyed a fuel storage site in the south of the country, reports the BBC.
“Kinzhal... The hypersonic ballistic missiles destroyed a major storage site for Ukrainian armed forces' fuels and lubricants near the settlement of Kostyantynivka in the Mykolative” region, officials said.
This is the second day Russia uses hypersonic ballistic missiles. Russian officials say Kinzhal could hit a target of up to 2,000km (1,240 miles) away and fly faster than 6,000 km/h (3,728 mph).
