An MPB official told Radio Free Europe, that there are only two families with relatives in Kosovo.
“We are ready for their admission if there will be” requirements, MPB officials said.
Kosovo has expressed readiness for accepting 5,000 refugees
Kosovo, too, has pledged the admission of 20 Ukrainian journalists, along with their families for asylum in Kosovo, offering temporary and immediate protection within Kosovo”.
Meanwhile, the Government of Kosovo has made a decision Wednesday [March 23rd] to allocate 100,000 euros for sending a contingent of humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
The number of people displaced from the war in Ukraine has exceeded 3.5 million.
About 90 percent of those who have left are women and children. Ukrainian men between the ages of 18 and 60 cannot leave the state after general military mobilization.
Over six million people are believed to be displaced within Ukraine.
Before the conflict, Ukraine had a population of 37 million, not counting the population on the annexed Crimea Peninsula and in the two eastern separatist regions.
