Poland plans to submit a proposal to a NATO summit to be held in Brussels next week for peacekeeping mission in Ukraine, Prime Minister Matthews Morawicki said on Friday.
Speaking at a press conference in Warsaw, Morawiecki told reporters that “at the next NATO summit, the proposal for a peace mission in Ukraine will be officially addressed”, CNN reports.
Morawiecki was asked if he thinks he has consensus on such a mission to Ukraine among NATO members.
“Polonia is very active, both in NATO and the EU, and we are the ones urging them to take the following steps”, the head of Poland said.
