“Tonight I spoke to Secretary of State Blinken, who called me to express his concern and support after the crash of the Dron in Zagreb and willingness to help protect our sky together with NATO”, Plenkov wrote on Twitter.
A Soviet production threat collapsed on Thursday evening after 11:00 in Zagreb's “Jarrun” neighbourhood. It has entered Croatian airspace from Hungary, as it earlier passed over Romania, while it is thought to have flown from the war zone to Ukraine.
As the Croatian prime minister said Monday, there have been explosives in fear and further investigation is being sought to determine who has released the butterfly towards Croatia and how and whether it has been wrong, sabotage or intention.
Plenkovic also said on Twitter that Blinken welcomed Croatia's clear support for Ukraine and efforts to accept Ukrainian refugees.
