Two people have been arrested today by the Serbian gendarmerie in the village of Dabinovc in the Podujevo municipality, located near the Kosovo-Serbia border.
According to media reports, those arrested are citizens of Kosovo.
Serbia's Ministry of Internal Affairs has announced that those arrested are G.M. (20000) and N.M. (1969). The same are suspected of forest thefts, writes news.net.
“Police have arrested suspects in Dabinovc, where they illegally cut down the forest and then confiscated a tractor with handmade trailer loaded with firewood and a motor saw that suspects used during the crime”, it is said in the announcement of the report. Serbian MPB.
According to the Serbian MPB, the suspects have been assigned the detention measure of up to 48 hours and, with criminal charges, will be sent to the competent prosecutor.
