Continued efforts by American army leaders and defence to negotiate with their Russian counterparts have been rejected by Moscow over the past month.
So by putting two global nuclear super powers in the dark about explanations for military movements and raising fear of a major miscalculation or battle accident.
Senior leaders of the Russian Army have rejected calls from their counterparts from the United States since the beginning of the Russian invasion in Ukraine, Pentagon spokesman writes The Washington Post today, Pryscopy records.
“over the last month, Secretary Austin and Chief Milhouse have tried and are continuing to call their Russian counterparts. Minister Shoigu and General Gerasimov have so far refused to be included. We continue to believe that co-ordination between US defence leaders and Russia is critically important at this time”, the Pentagon spokesman said in a statement.
Defence officials from the United States have described deconflict telephone lines as tactics to avoid miscalculations, especially when it comes to protecting NATO's territory or airspace, but its functionality may be limited. / P ERISCOPI/
