PDK sues Z RRE for new electricity tariffs

“PDK sues Z The RRE and initiated the parliamentary investigative commission for misusing tens of millions of euros from the government in the energy crisis”, it says, announcing this party on Facebook.

“The Democratic Party of Kosovo, acting in defense of public interest, has today filed the indictment against the Energy Regulatory Office decision (ZRRE), with which new electricity tariffs have been approved for family consumers”.

According to the PDK, this ZERE decision should be reviewed in court because four northern municipalities are not included in the new tariff structure, making ejacitating at home base and violating the extent of Kosovo's state sovereignty.

The ZERE's decision deserves judicial consideration in the competent court, besides, the fact that it does not engage in the new power-paying structure of the four northern municipalities, thereby discriminating citizens of the rest of the country”.

“Z The RRE, not including in the new tariff structure of electricity payment, four northern municipalities, in addition to the discrimination on the basis of the settlement, has also directly contributed to the violation of the principle of rule of law and the extent of state sovereignty in the northern part of the state”.

This party has also called for the parliamentary investigative commission to be initiated to investigate government decisions, for which The PDK raises doubts about the misuse of tens of millions of euros in the months of the energy crisis.

The controversial decision also has shortcomings in view of meeting the legal conditions of the administrative procedure, which will certainly be argued and tested in the conflicting procedure at the” Court.

“The decision of the Democratic Party of Kosovo to sue the Energy Regulatory Office comes after the Parliamentary Group has submitted the request for the establishment of the parliamentary investigative commission, in which decisions, actions and inactions of the Government and other institutions will be investigated, in relation to energy sector management, especially in the months of the energy crisis in which tens of millions of euros were misused, without plans, without strategies, without transparency and otherwise”.
