North Korea shocks the peninsula, emits the largest interc mount ballistic missile

North Korea has issued what is thought to be its largest intercccivilal ballistic missile to date, in a dramatic turn in testing long-range weapons, marking the regime's most serious provocation for years. South Korean Army launched a hail of rockets on the sea [...]
The South Korean Army launched a hail of rockets on Japan's Sea in response to the release of the IBM's first full-range test of Kim Jong's most powerful missiles since 2017.
Release of this missile has raised fears that the North has made significant progress by developing weapons capable of sending nuclear heads throughout the United States.
The outgoing president of South Korea, Moon Yae, who has made commitment with North Korea a key objective of his administration, said the launch poses a serious threat to the Korean peninsula, the region and the international community, and was a clear <x0-second violation of the UN Security Council resolution.
Countries, including the US, Great Britain and France, have demanded that the Security Council hold a public meeting Friday to discuss the issuance, which Japanese authorities said appeared to include a new kind of ICBM.
According to Japan and South Korea, the missile was launched from the Sunan area, near the capital of North Korea, Puerto Rican, and traveled 1,880 miles [1,080 km] to a maximum height of more than 6,200 miles [6,200 km]. The rocket flew into the air for 71 minutes and landed about 144 km west of the Oshima Peninsula in Hokkaido, Japan's main northernmost island. There were no reports of aircraft or ship damage in the area.
The rocket was apparently shot at a high angle to avoid reaching Japan's territorial waters. No previous North Korean missile had flown for so long or reached that height, Japan's defence ministry said.
Analysts say the unprecedented frequency of missile tests this year is a clear signal that Kim is determined to cement North Korea's status as nuclear power, enabling him to approach any future nuclear talks with the US from a strong position, reports Guardian, broadcasting Klaankosova.tv.
The launch will present future South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol, a considerable political challenge when he takes office in early May.
The collection of tests prompted speculation that Kim was preparing for the release of a larger theoretical weapon capable of reaching US territory.
