Who is Kurt's brother-in-law who was hired by MINT?

Nermin Packasica is the sister of Taulant Kurti's wife, brother of Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who holds managerial position in the Kosovo Energy Corps. It has been admitted to the Competition and Export Readiness Project (CERP), among other competitors.

The World Bank-funded CERP project is implemented by the Ministry of Trade, Trade, Enterprise and Industry, which is headed by Rosetta Hajdari.

The project amounts to 14.3m euros, financed by the World Bank's soft loans, writes Insander newspaper.

The aim of the Export Competition and Readiness Project, as the ministry reports, is to strengthen the capacity of elected public institutions in the country to contribute to improved export and competitiveness of the private sector.

The CERP project aims to support product certificates for export markets, strengthen export-oriented businesses' capacity, and improve their competitiveness.

The newspaper Insider, contacted Nermin Packistan about her selection of the CERP project.

Initially she has said she was not chosen by MINT, but by the World Bank, and that everything about her project and position will be answered by the World Bank.

But the World Bank, which is a funder of this project, has exposed the Minority.

In response to the paper, staff selection was made by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Trade, not them.

The selection process of staff working on implementation of the project is the responsibility of the implementing agency, in this case the Ministry of Industry, Intervention and Trade. Please direct your questions to Ministry”, says in response.

Nevertheless, the World Bank has not indicated whether they have been aware that Nermin Packasica is close to Prime Minister Albin Kurti's family.

The newspaper following the World Bank's response has once again contacted the Minor Party to get its version of the case. He did not want to answer specific questions in the newspaper, only to have fulfilled and surpassed the required criteria in the competition.

But she insisted that the answers would be answered by her employer.

I have talked to responsible officials who are with the World Bank, that with the ministry I'm still contacting them they said we're going to respond. No need to answer. My employer is going to give answers to”, she said over the phone when she was contacted by the newspaper.

The minority has not indicated whether its proximity to Prime Minister Kurti's brother, Taulant, has influenced it to be accepted in the Ministry of Commerce public competition that implements the World Bank project.

She has not shown what engagement she will have on this project and how long her contract lasts.

It has been several days since the paper has requested clarifications regarding the case also from the Ministry of Industry, Trade Undertaking, but this institution has not shown what criteria the Minor Party has met and has affected the prime minister's family's proximity to the project.

This government dictatorship has not even indicated when it officially began working on the duration of the Minority contract.

Nermin Packasica, in addition to this project, is employed by the Kosovo Privatisation Agency.

In November 2020, in the Kosovo Assembly, MP Beka Berisha had ironically said that Sėe believes that “the rights path” referring to Albin Kurti has politically influenced his wife's sister.
