Mustafa for the 3 April Serbian elections: It is the turn for those who have spoken big words to make decisions

Former Kosovo Prime Minister Isa Mustafa says that for Serbia's elections to be held on April 3rd, the Kosovo government must decide on the constitutional rights of Serbs living in Kosovo, rather than on Serbia's demands. The former LDK leader has stressed that Serbian citizens living in Kosovo, with Serbian citizenship, have a right to vote until he adds that where and how they vote the Government of Kosovo should think. He says the solution should be in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo.
While talking about this issue, Mustafa recalls the positions and assessments of “ ” that, according to him, the current Government and Presidency have given when it is allowed to hold elections in the past through the OSCE.
Mustafa says the government is already facing international demands to find a solution.
“This Government and the president have given serious assessments to the votes allowed in past periods through the OSCE. Kosovo should decide against the constitutional rights of its Serbian citizens and not face Serbia's demands. Kosovo Serb citizens, who also have Serbia's citizenship, have the right to vote. Where and how they will vote, the Government should think, which is facing demands from the US and the EU to find solutions. However, any solution must be in the spirit of the Constitution. We have heard professional interpretations of the Constitution by people who are competent, so I think things are clear”, Mustafa said.
He says that those who have spoken great words are already in line for decision.
Mustafa believes that even the White House delegation that held meetings yesterday with President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti have mentioned the issue of the April 3rd election in Serbia, as according to Mustafa the delegation had not only come here for proposals.
“Now the order for decisions has those who are speaking big words who should think, as far as their words and accusations are concerned about Kosovo's stability. Perhaps the White House delegation, who was visiting the Presidencys and Governments yesterday, has also made it clear to them because I suspect they have come to Kosovo for proposals of our institutions that they love America, without saying anything else, Mustafa for Express.
Meanwhile, Republika Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, at the media conference after meeting with the Austrian Chancellor held Friday, when asked about Serbia's elections, has said Kosovo wants the Constitution, law and resolution of January 15th of this year to be respected, which unable to organise Serbia's referendum within Kosovo territory.
Kurti has suggested they did not want to prevent or evade the right of Kosovo citizens with Serbia's citizenship to exploit the right to vote.
We have also discussed the report with Serbia and have not discussed particularly the issue of the April 3rd elections that Serbia organises. We want the Constitution, law and resolution of January 15th of this year to be respected in Kosovo. At the same time, we do not want to prevent, to afford Kosovo citizens who may even have Serbia's passport of their own voting rights”, the Kosovo executive chief has said.
The Kosovo government earlier has taken a firm stand that even for the April 3rd elections will be conducted the same as for the referendum, thus enabling only postal voting or through the liaison office. This stance has moved after calls from Washington, and Prime Minister Kurti has stated that along with QUINT and the EU, he is seeking a solution that does not affect the Constitution and the state of Kosovo.
