Murati for QUINT's harsh statements: Government must precede things, not get bad before internationals

The government Kurti rejected the QUINT countries' proposal for holding the Serbian presidential and parliamentary elections on April 3rd. And this was not accepted by them. They reacted sharply through a joint communiqué, saying the government's stance would affect European aspirations, writes Periscopi. “We acknowledge that [...]
“We recognise that it is the right of the Government of Kosovo to decide whether to allow the ease of voting in another country's elections. Although we appreciate Serbia's availability to find a solution, with great disappointment we make the Government of Kosovo's decision to reject a constructive proposal submitted by the QUINT. With this decision, the Government of Kosovo failed to demonstrate its commitment to the principle of protecting the civil and political rights of all its citizens, including members of minority groups. Such an attitude of the Government of Kosovo is not in line with our values and principles and will violate European aspirations”, the QUINT response said, among other things.
And the rejection of this proposal by the Kurti Government, chairman of the Movement for the Union, Valon Murati comments on it in two perspectives.
In a proposal for Periscope Murati has said that if the Government has made this move to benefit the points then it is harmful to Kosovo.
If we look at the government's action as isolated action, this action is completely principled and belongs to a sovereign country with a grasp. In politics, things are more complicated and should be seen in the process and we are in a negotiation process with Serbia, and if this move is designed to benefit political government, then it is harmful to Kosovo. If it has become part of a strategy to solve the problem with Serbia, then it could be frightening”, Murati said of Periscope.
Murati added that Kosovo is wrong, through its actions it is allowing others to pressure.
Kosovo would have to have a clear position for talks, should be marketed to the internationals what it wants. The main mistake is that we like Kosovo are bringing ourselves together that by our actions, we are under such pressure. We need to precede the situation by having clear positions for the talks so that we can be offensive and not come to these situations to get to the defanities in relation to Serbia, and when we go wrong in the international community”, he concluded. / P ERISCOPI/
