With that decision, Montenegro joined European Union member states that closed their air traffic airspace with Russia on February 27th, in response to Russian military intervention in Ukraine.
Following the attack on Ukraine on February 24th, Montenegro joined all restrictive measures, including eight packs of individual and economic sanctions the European Union approved against Russia. / P ERISCOPIA
