Defence Minister Armend Mehaj has commented on the opening of the Security Fund from the Government of Kosovo.
Mehe said that this fund has been opened because it is necessary for the Kosovo Army to strengthen, and according to him, it is difficult to do so with the budget the government has shared for the military.
Our country needs us, I'm convinced we will respond positively as we always have. The donation of each is precious and replaceable”.
Together alone we can achieve the vital goal of our modern and equipped military under NATO standards”, Mehe said.
In addition, the first of the Ministry of Defence said the Security Fund would be managed by the Ministry of Finance with full transparency and accountability.
Thank you for all the messages you've sent me, there's an extraordinary mobilization and will to grant donations to our army. Our army springs from the people. It only serves the people and peace”, wrote Mehej.
We remember that yesterday, with the decision of Prime Minister Kurti, the Security Fund was established, aimed at supporting the Kosovo Army.
