Meta decrees law for joint customs with Greece

This agreement goes to the functioning of the joint measures against cross-border threats on the part of the two authorities, aimed at strengthening the fight against cross-border crime, organised crime and its links, illegal migration, drug trafficking, violent extremism, radicalism, as well as serious crimes”, the Albanian Presidency announced.
The president also decreed the law on extradition of persons between Albania and Spain.
This agreement is aimed at fulfilling the judicial framework in the area of bilateral co-operation in the criminal field and facilitating citizens' extradition procedures, between the Republic of Albania and the Kingdom of Spain. It is also estimated to strengthen ties between the two justice systems and improve the extradition institute in terms of mutual surrender of criminals to respective authorities of the two countries, said the Presidency's announcement. /a2news
