Kurti: Serbia has blackmailed Brussels

Kurti for Swiss television Blick said our country has joined the democratic world against Russian aggression in Ukraine.

Kurti has also commented on the fear of wars in our region, especially in Kosovo, saying that fear stems from two factors, the first is Serbia, which has very close ties with the Russian Federation. For example, in 2013 between Serbia and Russia, there were two joint military activities, 50 military activities in 2016, and last year 100 joint military activities. “We have joined the West in imposing sanctions on the Russian Federation in 2014, when the Crimea and Donbask were annexed, which Serbia had not done and has not yet condemned or imposed sanctions on the Russian Federation”, Kurti said.

According to him, Kosovo and Serbia should have mutual recognition and that the Serbian state must face the past.
