Kurti meeting with ambassadors: We don't want to prevent Serbs from voting, but neither do we violate the Constitution

According to a Government communique, Kurti has made these statements during a virtual meeting with Kosovo's ambassadors and chiefs of diplomatic and consular missions.
Kurti has told ambassadors and diplomatic representatives that “we do not want to allow the voting rights of the citizens of our Republic who have dual citizenship, but at the same time we cannot act contrary to the country's legality and constitutionality of”.
He is said to be in constant contact with representatives of the Quinti countries in Kosovo.
Quintus's places are: The United States, Great Britain, Italy, Germany and France.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq has said on Monday, in a pre-election activity, that Kurti's “government wants from Serbia to accept Kosovo's independence, so that elections” are allowed, held on April 3rd.

Serbian authorities have warned that on Tuesday, at 12:00 a meeting of the National Security Council will be held to deploy “around future steps”.
The head of the Office for Kosovo in Serbia's Government, Petar Petkov, has said on Monday that Kosovo authorities want to prevent Kosovo Serbs from voting on April 3rd.
Opposition members in the Kosovo Assembly have called on the Government to be careful to preserve the country's sovereignty in any decision it can make about holding Serbia's Kosovo elections.
On January 15th, Kosovo's Assembly has approved one Resolution, Through which voting in Kosovo has been rejected for a referendum on constitutional changes.
Quint and EU countries had regretted the Kosovo government's decision on this referendum.
The international community has repeatedly called on the Kosovo government to find ways to hold Serbian elections.
The last parliamentary elections, which Serbia has also organised for the Serb community in Kosovo, have been those on 21 June 2020.
Those elections are held according to an earlier practice, where the Kosovo Security and Co-operation Organisation of Europe mission has collected votes. Those votes were later counted in Rashka and Vranje, two border towns in Serbia.
This practice has been in place since 2017, and Kosovo authorities have allowed it.
The OSCE has told Free Europe Radio they are willing to collect votes for April 3rd elections, but with the consent of all relevant institutions. / REL/
