Kurti: Kosovo needs a bold chief prosecutor

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti says the process of interviewing candidates for chief state prosecutor to be held today is extremely important for citizens and the rule of law. He expects this process to be fair and transparent.

The first of the government says Kosovo needs to be elected to a chief prosecutor who has high moral and professional integrity, but is also courageous, hardworking and energetic.

“Today is held interviewing candidates for chief state prosecutor. This process is extremely important for the Republic of Kosovo, for citizens and the rule of law, so it has everyone's attention. Kosovo and citizens need to be elected a chief prosecutor who has high moral and professional integrity, but is also courageous, hardworking and energetic”, Kurti has said.

Kurti has also said that organized crime, corruption must be fought everywhere all the time.
