The resolution, which the Assembly of Kosovo adopted, also mentions the unfair judgment being made at The Hague to the Kosovo war. This is the first time Kosovo's Parliament takes such a stand.
Former KLA superiors Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Rexhep Selimi, Jakup Krasniqi, Salih Mustafa, Nasim Haradinaj, Hysni Gucati and Peter Shala are being charged by the Special Court in The Hague for war crimes.
The resolution says that Serbia has distanced itself from its crimes in Kosovo and has not distanced itself from the crimes.
Kosovo's “Assembly commemorates that Serbia's state has never distanced itself from crimes and genocide in Kosovo, as well as is still reluctant to bring war criminals to justice. Instead of Serbia being condemned, today Kosovo and its war are being wrongly tried”, the text resolution adopted today says.
The Kosovo Assembly by 94 votes for, none against and no abstention has adopted the resolution condemning Russia's aggression in Ukraine.
