“Referring to your request, we announce that the Kosovo Police Inspectorate has been officially announced on this issue and that under legal competencies and authorisations it is reviewing the issue of Kosovo Police Chiefs' participation at the meeting with Serbia President”, Beka has declared.
Otherwise, the Kosovo Judiciary Council (KGJK), at the 281st meeting held Thursday, has made a decision to suspend Ljiljana Stevanovic, chairman of the Constitutional Court in Mitrovica, until a coming decision.
Stevanovovic's nomination comes after her participation in the meeting with Alexander Vuciq, president of Serbia.
News of Stevanovic's suspension was made known through a communiqué for media from the KDR, as the same point has been closed.
At the end, the Council continued meeting with two (2) closed points for: reviewing the ADR announcement.n.93/2022 of the head of the Constitutional Court in Mitrovica, as well as establishing the investigative panel for disciplinary case No. AD/CREC/07/2022/ J T HPR-AD/GTHPR. nr.12/2022, under which he decided to suspend the Chairman of the Foundation Court in Mitrovica, L.S., until his next decision”, the announcement said.
