IKShPK alert: Omitron variations are spreading with serious consequences and fatal cases

Kosovo's National Public Health Institute has called on citizens to vaccinate and respect measures against the spread of Coronavirus.
The IKSHPK appeals are said to have two Omitron variants ( BA.1 and BA.2) are continuing to spread with serious consequences to citizens' health and fatal cases.

“Virus is everywhere, so do not neglect basic recommendations: masks, distances, hygiene. Avoid unnecessary travel, stay at home, and absorb closed environments”.

“The IKSHPK is continuing consistently with testing and tracking all cases, community case contacts and laboratory diagnosis, so all persons with headaches, coughing, throat pain, breathing difficulties, nose leaks, fever, sluggishness, loss of taste are recommended to test”.

Furthermore, it is said that the epidemiological situation is still serious and that in recent weeks there has been an increase of cases in Europe and the world, so “IK The KPS appeals to all citizens to respect the government measures of the Republic of Kosovo”.

Because of the high risk of spreading COVID-19, we call in particular for caution and non-gathering. While, we recommend responsible institutions to carefully monitor and take all necessary actions to implement measures to prevent and combat pandemic.
Further care is necessary for all to strictly respect physical distance, use masks, become disinfectant and ventilation of spaces, unable and avoid further eventual spread of COVID-19 infection and preventing the new wave.
Omitron is highly contagious, so keep your masks everywhere, keep your distance above six feet [2 m] even in open environments even if everyone wears masks!
