An exclusive study by Guardian has found that private butterflies of Russian oligarchs have continued flying in air spaces inside and outside the European Union and the United Kingdom, despite sanctions imposed on them.
The Guardian has done the research in collaboration with the Organised Crime Reporting and Corruption Project, and suggests that among private butterflies who have flown despite sanctions, there have been Roman Abramovich, Alisher Ussanov and Igor Shuvalov.
