G7 ready for tougher sanctions against Russia if not stopped

G7 foreign ministers have agreed on Friday to impose new sanctions on Russia if Moscow does not stop the attacks on Ukraine, said Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimas Hayashi, writes Anews, Prys Periscopi.

“We urge Russia to immediately stop its attacks on Ukraine, attacks that have damaged even ordinary citizens, and to withdraw its troops”, Hayashi told reporters.

“We, G7, agreed to impose stricter sanctions if Russia does not stop its invasion”, he added.
