Fund for Army, economy expert: Government populist action, should have addressed the White House.

Economy expert Agim Sahini in a statement for Periscope has said it would help to some extent the security of Kosovo, but that is not enough.

I think this helps, but it's not enough. That's why I think the Government should be more reliable to citizens and more creditable to international partners because we may have the Security Fund, but we can have sanctions to buy weapons”, Sahin told Periscope.

Sahin further emphasises that the vehicles that accumulate must be transparent, but does not rule out the possibility that Kosovo has had to address the White House.

“Collection and spending of these tools must be transparent. There is no government strategy about what I'm going to buy from that fund, what I'm going to get, and whether we have armies prepared for many weapons a country needs, he added.

For this matter we had to address the White House, the American Army, in order to ask that military capacities be built, and I am convinced that this would have happened with help from many major military powers”, Sahin says.

And, the Government of Kosovo's decision to form the fund, Sahin calls <x0-company”, adding that initially institutions had to share means, then open up for citizens.

The government has wanted to make a popular decision, affecting the citizen's feelings to secure the fund for security as it has affected the 3 %s fund's feelings and the “Birthday fund Fec”. The government had to put 100 million in this fund and tell citizens that 100 million are for the army and buy this, but we're taking 150 million and it needs 50. And then we had to find forms and methods of how to collect and grow this 8x3> fund, he said.

Days earlier, Kosovo Pension Saving Fund -Trust has been badly affected by losing 90 million euros in pension savings. But economics expert says that even the funds collected for the Security Fund are not safe.

There's nothing safe. The state will have to ensure citizen economic stability, fight poverty, raise security capitals human and ethnic, but always with our international partners

Then Sahin asks: What's he gonna buy with that fund? Will you buy weapons, open bunkers? So the Fund for Security is an extensive range and we need to know what we're going to spend on them and for what reason the state hasn't seen, and we have to call on people from”.

The Security Fund, established by the Government of Kosovo, envisions the collected money being used in the field of state protection and security, security infrastructure and natural disaster management. / PERISCOP/
