In a document published today, the EU shows that 22 high-ranking Belarusan individuals were targeted “given the weight of the situation and that Belarus is taking part in a Russian invasion against Ukraine allowing military aggression”
Further restrictions are also announced by the EU, halting several imports from Belarus to the EU and exports of EU machinery to Belarus.
“Certain sectors of the Belarus economy, particularly the wood, steel and mail sectors”, will also be influenced by these measures, the French Presidency of the European Union Council announced in a Twitter post. / Skynet/Periscope/
