This is a dangerous moment for the world”, he said. “A misdirected missile is enough to escalate the conflict in Ukraine”.
A few days ago, he told CNN that unity and much stability are needed to stop Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“Putin is a KGB agent and has always acted through power. And what he clearly understands is power. And the West, through sanctions and weapons sent to Ukraine, must show its power. We must show unity”, Panetta said.
“One thing Putin Westerns is power, is power. ”
