Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has stated that his country has opened the doors for temporary refugee shelters from Ukraine.
Trudeau said it would eliminate visa requirements and be a faster way to go to Canada.
We are creating a new programme for Ukrainians who want to come to Canada temporarily. This will eliminate many of the normal visa requirements and will be the fastest and safest way to get to Canada”.
The first of the Canadian government added that it is also working on the implementation of the family union, towards a permanent stay.
And for Ukrainian family members who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents, we will implement a special way of sponsoring the family union towards a permanent stay of”.
