Britain: Russia is still focused on Kiev

The British Defence Ministry has said that Ukrainian capital, Kiev, continues to remain a priority for Russia, while they are waiting to try again to enter the city in the coming weeks.

The British Ministry has said fierce fighting is continuing north of the capital, but Russian advances from that direction have stalled, reports the BBC.

Despite the continuing lack of progress, Kiev continues to remain Russia's main goal and is expected to make the siege of the city priority in the coming weeks”.
