The two leaders will discuss China- The US, and about issues of common interest, the Chinese ministry added, writes Sky News, records Periscopi.
World leaders and security experts had earlier indicated that China is the only country in such a position to make Vladimir Putin stop the invasion.
On the other hand, a Western official has said that there is a huge gap between Russia and Ukraine in peace talks.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov yesterday said that the possibility of Ukraine having neutral status has been seriously discussed in the talks between the two parties.
Ukraine has earlier indicated it will not accept ultimatum in the talks.
