The indictment was announced on Wednesday by the chairman of the court, Judge Lutfi Shala, under which the damaged side was instructed in regular legal-civil disputes, reports “Justice Vowing”.
Judge Shala said the ruling's reasoning will be accepted in a reasonable timeline.
Otherwise, the Constitutional Court in Pristina on May 17th, 2021, had acquitted four of being mentioned, over charges of misuse of official office.
After the prosecution's complaint, the Court of Appeals on January 25, 2022, had turned the case into retrial because of essential procedural violations.
According to the Special Prosecutor's Act of the Republic of Kosovo (PSRK), set up on November 18, 2019, Bedri Halimi working as Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning (MMPH), competent for inspection of construction work at National Park “Sharri” in Prevalla has deliberately failed to carry out the necessary tasks assigned to the MMPH Minister's decision No.34-13 on the 1511.2013, with which the destruction of objects without permission is ordered within the Urban Regulatory Plan in National Park, in a way that, even though it has drafted the plan to implement the ordinance in 4 phases, it has not met.
According to the indictment, 180 items had collapsed in the first phase, in the second phase of 28 decisions on collapse, only 20 were implemented, and eight decisions remained unmet.
According to the prosecution, in the third phase of 45 disaster decisions, 16 were revoted, while 29 decisions have remained unmet, while the fourth phase had not been implemented at all since 14.12.2013 so far has not implemented one of the decisions, even though the same are still in place.
Halimi was also arrested in January this year in the case known as Brezovica, due to allegations of misuse of official office and bribery. No decision has been made in the case yet.
