American Intelligence: Ukraine's losses exceed those of Russia

Russia has lost about 3 to 5% of its tanks, fighter planes, artillery and other war assets within Ukraine - compared to Ukraine's losses bringing in 10% of its capacities, according to two American officials close to American intelligence, CNN writes. American and Western officials say [...]
American and Western officials say these percentages are hard to calculate and are likely to change -- not only because both sides are continuing to suffer losses in the first week of war, but also because Russian and Ukrainian troops are being refuelled.
But the high disbalancing exceeds the grim assessments of the United States and the West that despite stronger resistance than Ukraine's expected to keep major cities away from Russia's hands, it seems that disbalancing will grow further as Russia is launching a more intense and less discriminating phase of its attack.
And despite Western media, American officials said Russia is still superior to weapons against Ukraine. Moscow has initially been deeply dependent on its modern precise missiles, according to a source close to intelligence, seriously damaging Ukraine's military infrastructure.
Another Western official also said there is a feeling that the conflict would turn into a devastating war -- not a campaign that Russian President Vladimir Putin and American intelligence had predicted would trigger Kiev's decline in a few days.
